Who you are is your legacy
It gives me bliss, peace, groundedness and connection to know that my spirit is enough.
Listening to the Lauryn London interview with Angie Martinez really sparked a fire in my spirit. 28 year around the sun I’ve stepped into a new present. The present of legacy, it’s crazy because on June 27, when I turned 28 I themed the year legacy and it revealed itself to me. The legacy I want to live and leave is my spirit; it’s the fruits of the spirit to be exact. God said in Galatians 5:22-23, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. My legacy is a living one and that is something I didn’t recognize until now (today is July 22, 2022). My legacy isn't something I necessarily have to birth through a child, material things or do but be in awareness, love and worth. Yes I have goals that I want to achieve such as the Self Care Lifestyle Academy, Self Care Lifestyle Garden and the Self Care Lifestyle Galaxy, but to be present in my own awareness and aligned with the spirit, is much more meaningful to me. It gives me bliss, peace, groundedness and connection to know that my spirit is enough. Thank you God for revealing to me that my spirit is worthy, it is B.A.E (Beautiful. And. Enough); my spirit allows me to honor those around me and I honor that in me as a Self Care BAE. Bae you don’t have to place value in societal norms, place it in you. If you’re ready to unpack and apply the meaning of stillness, sacrifice and substance in a practical faith based approach, chilee sign up for the Spiritual Warfare Self Care Workshop to determine it.
