Values are principles that guide your behavior. My top core values are faith, integrity, love, empowerment, ambition and connection. Let me break down how I operate out of each of those: Faith guides my behavior by honoring Jesus Christ as my lord and savior. I invest in God by tapping into His word through the Bible, sermons, journal (prayer), devotionals and praise & worship. Integrity guides my behavior by listening, honoring & speaking my truth. Love the greatest commandment of them all, guides my behavior is rooted in the fruits of the spirits; Galatians 5:22-23 says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Empowerment guides my behavior by using my voice, my story, my platform, my business and my lifestyle as a resource to coach black women who want to invest in their self care to become a source of self awareness, self love and self worth and value through newsletter, toolkits & workshops. Ambition guides my behavior to continually break generational curses and live off my business Self Care Lifestyle FT + live the luxury lifestyle I deserve, desire and determine to get. Connection guides my behavior by providing me a sense of belonging to myself, others & the world; connection allows me to honor my love language words of affirmations. I operate out of my highest self when I’m guided by my faith, integrity, love, empowerment, ambition and connection. I realized that no matter who, what, when, where, why or how, I should not change who I am to meet the needs of others if it ob·jec·ti·fy who I am and neither should you. I had to change my outlook on how I showed up in my learning what matters to me. If you mind it DO matter. I had to make some changes to some spaces, some people, some behaviors and some environments that didn’t align with who I am. I know now that alignment allows you to flourish. Get to know your garden so you can bloom into who you are called to be. Okay?
