When it comes to everything that 2022 has to offer me, I’m making sure I’m ready to receive it, achieve it and manage it. Before I had goals, but I really didn’t have a strategic plan or preparation when it came to hitting those goals. I realize now that it’s just a goal written if it doesn’t have a plan. To execute a plan properly it has to have preparation. Preparation definition is the action or process of making ready or being made ready for use or consideration. Chile, how are you going to plan a goal with no preparation and wonder why the goal is not being met, is what I had to ask myself. The S.M.A.R.T goal plan is the new gateway for my preparation of my goals. I realized when I got specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time bound with a goal, I hit a new level of preparation. Not only did I have the goal, I’m now able to track the goal with steps to meet it. Breaking down a goal is an easier way to achieve what you are trying to complete. For example, y’all know I’m trying to make my way down to DC (Specific) to live my black girl luxury lifestyle. Measurably the cost of living ranges from $1600-$1800. To achieve this goal I’ve been applying for 3-5 jobs a day, building references + connections, and researching apartments in that price range. Realistically, I have to have a job paying over 60k to meet all those needs and my timeframe was at the end of this month. Of course all of this is God willing but I know in order to receive it, achieve it and manage it, I have to have a plan. This is my ultimate goal with a new city, new apartment, new job, new church and a new lifestyle. That’s how I’m empowering my lifestyle in 2022, by knowing exactly what I want and a plan to achieve it.
