It is hard to love ourselves fully when 

1. We lack standards for ourselves, so we allow societal norms to define them 

2. We don’t know our character, so we change depending on the circumstances, moments of affliction, work settings, different crowds etc

3. We allow our values to be taught to us not for us 

4. We dictate our purpose for acceptance
